You are looking at once piece of FF12 non-driven end ballscrew support.  The FF12 is designed for face mounting.

This ball screw support is the perfect MATCH for our 16mm machined ball screws (see other listings).

This is a superior quality Taiwanese made unit.  Don't waste your money on cheaper Chinese model's in the market, they are unrated, and quality varies from unit to unit.  From personal experience, there is a massive difference between our units, and the cheaper ones.

The FF12 fits the non-driven end of the ball screw and uses a 10mm bearings to support the ball screw.  The bearing is allowed to slide inside the housing, to allow for expansion and contraction of the ballscrew.  This is vital to the correct operation of the ballscrew, because if the bearing is fixed and the ballscrew expands it will bow causing many problems with the ballscrew operation.

Included with the FF12 is a circlip to secure the support bearing to the ballscrew.
